The Economics Department at Keio University will host the first annual Empirical Investigations in Trade and Investment (EITI) conference. Economists specializing in empirical economic research on issues relating to international trade and investment from the United States and Asia will present their latest research at this meeting.

The conference is open to other attendees whose papers are not on the program. There is no entry fee, but space is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis for those not on the program. If you plan to attend but not to present a paper, please follow the registration link below.

Conference Format: The conference will begin in the afternoon on a Thursday and will continue through the following Saturday. The program will include a total of 15 papers, with one hour per paper devoted to presentation, discussant remarks, and open discussion.

Conference Registration:
  • Please notify us if you would like to attend and/or would be willing to serve as a discussant but are not submitting a paper.
  • If you have submitted a paper, you needn't also register. Your submission is your registration.
