Economists specializing in empirical economic research on issues relating to international trade and geography from Australia, the United States, Europe, and Asia will present their latest research at this meeting.

The conference is open to other attendees whose papers are not on the program. There is no entry fee, but space is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis for those not on the program. If you plan to attend but not to present a paper, please follow the registration link below.

Conference Format:

The conference will begin in the morning on Thursday and will continue through the following Saturday at noon. The program will include a total of 15 papers, with one hour per paper devoted to presentation, discussant remarks, and open discussion.

All participants are expected to attend all sessions on the three days of the conference.
(Links to papers are embedded in the Program.)
(If the link fails, we do not have the paper.)

    • Location: Canberrra, Australia
    • Dates: July 7-10, 2009.

Conference Registration:

  • Please notify us if you would like to attend and/or would be willing to serve as a discussant but are not submitting a paper.
